Natural-looking full, partial and implant-supported dentures, fitted, tried in and adjusted until they feel right. A comfortable fit takes patience, and we take the time.
Dentures replace missing teeth so you can eat, speak, and smile without planning around a gap. We bring decades of restorative experience to denture work at our Richmond clinic: from a partial that fills in a few missing teeth, to a full upper or lower arch, to an implant-supported denture when you want something that stays firmly in place.
Implant dentures (implant-supported dentures) clip onto dental implants, so they don't slip like a regular denture. We check your jawbone with a low-radiation x-ray first and give you a written estimate before you decide. We also make full and partial dentures, and reline or repair dentures made elsewhere.
Their gentle, efficient approach transformed my dental anxiety into confidence.
Getting dentures right is a process rather than a single appointment. We begin with an exam of your gums, your remaining teeth, and your bite, then take impressions or a digital scan. You will usually try in a wax version so you can see the shape, shade, and tooth position before anything is finalized, and we adjust from there. The finished denture is then fitted and fine-tuned across one or more short visits.
The First Few Weeks
New dentures feel bulky at first, and that is normal. Speaking and eating take practice, and small sore spots are common early on. They are also easy to fix. We build follow-up adjustments into your plan rather than sending you off and hoping for the best, because a denture that fits properly is the difference between wearing it and leaving it in a drawer.
Dentures or Implants? An Honest Comparison
Dental implants are generally the better functional option when a patient is a good candidate and can afford them, but dentures are absolutely a reasonable option for some patients. We will help you understand the benefits of each option and determine which one is right for your needs.
Caring for Your Dentures
Clean them daily with a denture brush and cleanser rather than regular toothpaste, take them out overnight unless we have advised otherwise, and keep up your check-ups. Your gums and jaw change shape over the years, so a denture that fitted well two years ago may simply need a reline rather than replacing.

Denture costs in Richmond depend on whether you need a partial or a full set, the materials used, and whether implants are involved. Our fees follow the standard BCDA fee guide with no markup, and you can ask for a written estimate before treatment begins. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and most major insurance plans and bill providers directly. CDCP includes coverage for certain denture services depending on your eligibility, and we can help you check what applies to your situation before you commit to anything.
Denture appointments here are unhurried, which matters more than it sounds. Fit is something you have to describe, adjust, and describe again. Our team speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Farsi, so nothing gets lost in translation while we are getting it right. You will find us at 6011 No. 1 Road, Unit 120, in Richmond's Terra Nova neighbourhood, with free on-site parking and Saturday appointments. Call (604) 238-6666 to book a denture consultation.
Implant dentures or regular dentures: which is right for me?
It depends on your bone, gums, budget and how secure you need the denture to be. We assess you and explain both options with a written estimate.
Does CDCP cover dentures?
We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and bill it directly. Coverage depends on your plan and some services need pre-approval; if a co-payment applies to you, we tell you the amount before treatment.
How long does it take to get dentures?
Most cases run a few weeks across several short visits: impressions, a try-in, the fitting, then adjustments. Immediate dentures can bridge the gap when teeth are being removed first.
Will dentures change the way I talk?
Briefly. Most people adapt within a few weeks, and reading aloud at home speeds it up noticeably.
Can I still get dentures if I have had teeth missing for years?
Usually yes. Long-term tooth loss does change the shape of the jaw, which affects fit. That is something we assess at your first visit, and it is one reason implant support is sometimes recommended.
Do you repair dentures made at another clinic?
Yes. Bring it in and we will tell you honestly whether a repair or reline will do the job, or whether replacing it makes more sense.
Do dentures need to come out at night?
In most cases, yes. It gives your gums a rest and lets you clean the denture properly. We will tell you if your situation is an exception.
